I'm still torn about what to take for my final pick, so I'm stalling for a round.
For many many years this has been my favorite song by REM (which puts it pretty high in the mix for favorite song ever). The perfect mix of trepidation and optimism, bittersweet departures and beautiful new beginnings. The whole performance is gorgeous. It's the crown jewel of Automatic for the People, my second favorite album of all time. This is my go to song for any time I'm entering a new phase of my life. For over twenty years it's never failed to move me.

How would you guys describe that "meh" hand gesture? The one where you put your hand palm down, thumb facing you and kind of tilt it from thumb to pinky while making a smug "eeeeh, I'm not so sure about that" face?
