I didn't know there was a Screaming Life/Fopp reissue.

That's all there is. There are some pro-clips but I doubt we'll ever see a release of that show.

Yep, came out in 2013 on CD and vinyl. "Sub Pop Rock City" added to the tracklist in between the two EP's.

I hope they hit up the Northeast next year. Which night is SG playing at RoR?

Very good recent interview with Kim about Badmotorfinger:
12 songs demo'd for the new album. Info on the Paramount recording and interesting stuff on writing JCP. Plenty of mentions of Hiro as well, which was nice to read.
He also mentioned possibly recording some, previously unrecorded, old songs (pre-Matt) for future use, and releasing some previously unheard sessions as they are.

very cool.
I love how Kim really likes the whole legacy of the band. I only imagine Jeff and Mike doing that, really talking about the past in those terms.
I want the new album now.

Based off Storm I'd certainly be down for some old songs we've never heard getting newly recorded and released.

Fuck you. NTMF is fucking awesome.
Applebite, eh. I don't hate it, but it wouldn't hurt me if I never heard it again.

I listened to DOTU today, too. I've decided Ben is the unsung hero of it. I never realized how many tunes had had on the record.
No wonder they were all pissed at this time. The fucking bass player wrote most of the songs!!

That's the start of the best sequence of songs on the album, if not the whole Soundgarden catalogue!
Fuckin' trag.

When I made my alt-DOTU with Karaoke, Kristi and Bleed Together mixed in there I had to cut Applebite to fit on a CD. I enjoy the song but its the only one I could bear to let go. Its a shame cause it almost fits.

It is the best sequence of songs - the entire back half of DOTU is absolutely unbeatable.

For near on 20 years whenever I listen to DOTU I get to Tighter and Tighter and I hit repeat. I could listen to that song for quite awhile.
