I finally got two really solid starts and my team managed a combined three hits. Damn.

I think Argo gets a candidate for best play of the season:

And he got on base by hitting a 2-RBI single! That was crazy. I think Tim Raines is getting sick of the slump going on in the middle of the order.

Fernando Valenzuela pitched a one-hit shutout and Don Sutton pitched a two-hit shutout!

When I ran those sims, I was thinking that that's got to be the most dominant day's worth of pitching performances we've seen from one team so far.

What the hell just happened? I get some of my best pitching performances of the tournament and my team has managed a total of three runs on 12 hits over the last four games. Despite my record, my overall offense had been really solid up until now.

I don't know. I think I may have dug myself into too deep of a hole. All four teams ahead of me also have outstanding pitching staffs. The difference is all of you have far superior offenses.

My rotation since the break: 6-0, 1.20 ERA, six quality starts...

This is what I was hoping for when I gambled on picking nothing but pitchers with my first four picks. My playoff chances are pretty much squarely on their shoulders at this point, cause outside of a few players, my offense is pretty terrible most of them time. There's probably a really good chance I have both the lowest team ERA and the lowest team batting average.
