I'd see Oklou too. Choke Enough was a highlight from last year

Jose Gonzalez for two nights in May. Currently my favorite guitarist. The venues are 18 and 21+. I’m sad I can’t take my daughter. She loves his songs.

The Lord giveth, the Lord taketh away... in the space of a week I got tickets for the reunited Sugar playing in my home town in May, and then Neil cancelled his EU tour, which I had tickets for.

Toadies with Local H at First Ave in June. Two of the best 90s bands still going, still making new music, and still sounding great.

Ooh, I’ve always kinda wanted to see Toadies and they have a Denver date. Might have to do that. I’ve got Sparta as an opener, though. Which is a bummer for my wife; she LOVES Local H.

It’s so odd. They’re playing every date around Denver.

Toadies are awesome live. “I Burn” is worth it all on its own.

Hmm now I'm confused because the official image on the venue site shows Local H as the opener? Conflicting info...

I think they’ll be there. It makes no sense for them not to be. I hope you and your wife go. Both bands are so good live and truly enjoy each other so the mood should be great.

If I can get confirmation, we probably will. She has seen them twice already and briefly hung out with Scott Lucas both times. I saw them once when they opened for Helmet in 2016.

I will say I am a little surprised that Toadies is asking $55 a ticket, but maybe they're more popular than I knew? Not a crazy price or anything, but Local H is also opening for Filter at the same venue next month and that is only $30. Would have guessed Filter were bigger than Toadies, honestly.

Spring/Summer 2026 coming into focus after I took most of last year off:

March - Warren Haynes Band
May - Bruce Springsteen (holding tix to 4 shows but will likely go to one)
June - Goose
July - TOTO/Christopher Cross

Wait til my wife hears I want to go for Phish tickets for the end of July…

Woah, a Tomahawk & Melvins tour has been announced in the US, that would be a fun show.
