Jimmy seeks out the contact though. It's never about actually making the shot, that's just a bonus. We're looking for guys who truly want to nut in the face of someone probably much bigger than them in the paint. Jimmy starts possessions knowing he's going to end up on the ground. It's cheating.

He rarely takes it to the hole unless its a clear path and if anyone gets in his way he'll twist himself into a pretzel to avoid getting blocked. He'll have a chance to drive through contact and instead he'll fade away and front rim it. I'm 100% convinced he'd rather miss the shot than risk getting blocked even if it meant he gets fouled and goes to the line. It's all about being an All-Star, scoring points, Subway sandwiches and Ruffles. Winning would be nice but not a requirement. Getting embarrassed is off the table.
I can't lie, this makes me happy.
I thought he sucked now because of covid
That's been part of the narrative and maybe its true but he was playing like this before he got covid so I'm dubious.

Zion played point last night, since Lonzo’s out. 37/15/8.

Kind of figured Murray's knee was a goner when they cut the live mic due to his screaming in pain. Sucks.

Why do the tv guys always get so squeamish during injury replays? They acted like they were watching Faces of Death last night and I could barely make out which leg buckled.

Nobody tunes in to hear broadcasters hype up injury replays. It's not nascar. Don't be dense.
