I started watching Toy Story 2 with the kids yesterday, but had to go to work halfway through. I had never seen it before, and it was disturbingly dark. Not as funny as Toy Story, but I will probably finish it on my own time this weekend.

Whenever there's active promotion on the part of somebody else, whenever I see somebody all dolled up for a fancy photograph and someone's handing out flyers or whenever there's active promotion for something like that, as an imposition on my day, I hate all those people and I want them to fail. I had to almost beg her to watch Alien due to her assumptions of what it must be (she knew nothing about it). And the first few minutes where it’s clearly dated from a sci-fi perspective didn’t help. It didn’t take long after that for it to put its hooks in though. And all the classic moments were huge. And our next cat will now be names Jonesy.
