I don't think they have the chops or the instincts to suddenly become a jazz band, but I'd love a collection of score-like songs like the Touring Band 2000 instrumentals, especially if they're relatively short like that and done without much studio sweetening. It would be like their version of NIN's "Ghosts I-IV" -- also a double album! (Or a quadruple, depending on how you look at it.)

I can think of a handful of songs from the past few albums I find kind of clunky, hacky, etc., but have pleasing grooves/vibes to them that, if slightly re-imagined, I would really enjoy as short 2-2.5 minute instrumentals ("Infallible," "Pendulum," "Seven O'Clock," "Alright").

Next time Ed is on one of his Hawaiian solo gig excursions, have the rest of them hole up in Stone's studio, let them jam for 3-4 days, record it all, and release the best 1-2 hours of material. I bet it would be great.

Can we be the worst Pearl Jam fans you know and suggest they avoid dates that they’ve already used for other albums because we don’t want them to share birthdays? I mean, who wants to have to talk about Ten and No Code every August 28th, right? (This is all sarcasm but with just a hint of truth)

that t shirt is the lamest thing i ever saw. I thought it was like a fan art or something. Its so fucking lazy it hurts.

i could go for a nice mid year release - timing wise maybe it could segue right out of march madness, especially if we dont start it in january
