First thought is they from an old session disc that was tracked alphabetically. But one is def a rough mix studio track, #3 sounds like a home studio mixed by someone who can't mix.

I actually feel the opposite.

Let's say you were close to the band and you had copies of these demos from 2006 or 2009 (or whenever.) You'd feel obligated to keep them private if there was a chance these songs would be featured on a future album out of respect to the band. However, once you know the songs definitely aren't being used, you might think the world deserves to hear them and spread them under the radar. Hell, the band might've even said that was okay, provided they're seen to have nothing to do with it.
