She's OK, I guess. Nothing in what she does really stands out to me as amazing.

I heard one song that was intriguing. I’ve got a long drive ahead of me this weekend. I’ll check her out

I really like her; she has a great voice, her music has a bit darkness to it, and her + her brother are a solid songwriting team. She also seems to be a sweet kid with a good head on her shoulders. I'm really interested to see her growth as an artist in the coming years.

It's also cool that her music seems to be getting a bunch of guys in their 30s and 40s to open themselves up to some contemporary pop.

Agreed. Although, I was also on board with Ariana Grande, Sia, and some others . There's some really good stuff in pop these days. If Moron 5 and some others didn't exist, you'd maybe get away with calling me a contemporary pop fan.

I don't mean just on this board, it's something I've seen out in the wild too! Especially after that Grammys performance

I suggest you listen to Howard Stern's interview of Billie Eilish and her brother. It is 2 hours long and gives a good look at what kind of person she is. She's really great.

I'm so impressed that she and her brother still produce records in a bedroom in their family's house

Yeah, it's pretty great. With all the tools and resources available to them and they're still sticking to their roots. It's like the opposite of Taylor Swift.
