No one knows anything really
I'd be totally shocked if this wasn't the artwork for the liner notes.
Everything's perfectly all right now. We're fine. We're all fine here, now, thank you. How are you?

So far I'm enjoying the reveals - both the artwork and track titles. This whole album seems to have a much darker feel to it than BS, which is exactly the direction I was hoping they'd take.

So, I'm guessing My Father's Son is about a man who has to decide between drinking a bottle of flaming lightning, or a bottle of flaming jizz in order to save his father, himself or his brother. The consequences of drinking either are unknown, but one is good, one is bad - the decision is the hardest part.

Whoa whoa whoa whoa. Hold your horses. I think you're forgetting that the album isn't necessarily good until the music is. You're getting ahead of yourself.

Regardless of how much I end up liking the album, I agree; this has been pretty enjoyable.
Enjoyable? yes. Detrimental to my productivity as a functioning member of society? Also yes.
When they were late getting started today, i had to stop what i was working on every 10 minutes to go back to the computer to see if they got started

When all the tracks have been revealed, are we going to have a 'Guess the track order' thread?

You're gonna want to take the blue pill after choosing the jizz.

One of them comes loaded with jizz, the other with lightning bolts.

When I saw the sperm I instantly thought of QOTSA...which is a good sperm-association in my opinion.

The first thing I thought of was that verse about "I only do what I see my father doing" or something. I won't look it up or write it in here or mocking will ensue, but I still think the song alludes to it.

I'd guess its about fighting against becoming like your father, fighting against your own genes. I dunno whether they're a metaphorical father and genes or literal though.

Fighting against it with Lightning though, I'm trying to figure out if the lighting bolt itself represents something specific over all the art work though. It's on the bottle and the record player so it could be positive, but then its on the pulpit and the monster fish things eye...which i assume are both negative. Maybe it's just belief in something, fueling all these things no matter what side of the fence you're on, being used for both good an evil.

...s'all i got.
