Easily better than the bolt, the spacer, and self titled.

Riot Act holds a special place in my heart but dont really crave to listen to it these days. Binaural is my favorite pearl jam album.

perhaps my rankings would look like this right now

Binaural
Vitalogy
Yield
Vs
Gigaton/No Code/Riot Act
Self Titled
Backspacer
Lightning Bolt

Ten doesn't even make the list??? Ouch. How far the mighty have fallen.

I think I said it somewhere else a while back - I'll probably listen to this album more over the rest of my life than I will any of the previous PJ albums. Doesn't mean it's "better," but it's the one I've spent the least time with and it's the one I feel most compelled to keep listening to.

WES still the fav, ND moving up to top 5.

This album is their best effort since Yield imho
I agree still thinking its their best since Yield.

I think I've heard the Frozen 2 soundtrack twice as much as this the past two months.

Eh, All is Found is an incredible song (for being in a Disney film). I could take or leave the rest.

I still really enjoy Gigaton but the last couple times I listened to it, it was clear that some of the newness had worn off. There was a moment there when I would have said I could imagine it hanging with the first 7 records, albeit near the bottom of that list, but I don't think I'd say that now. It still feels like, creatively, it belongs in a tier above S/T and Backspacer (certainly above LB), but I'm still finding it a tough album to rank.

I still consider it to be a top notch album. Best since Binaural and most consistent since Yield.

Binaural is still my favorite, and I think the release of Gigaton some how has made me love and appreciate Binaural even more. It’s number one with a bullet for me.

Gigaton is definitely top 5, and right now I’d probably have it at number 2. If anything will push it down from that spot, Vs. will be the one to do it.

Gigaton has reinvigorated my interest in this band to the point that I'm in the middle of a love-in with their material. I'm also reassessing the albums that don't hold up so well for me, such as listening to the Brickwallhater version of Avocado and really starting to enjoy that album, or putting on Lightning Bolt and actually rocking out a bit to it.

I was cautiously looking forward to the album but it didn’t really land for me.

No question that it’s a huge improvement on the last few records but I very rarely feel like going back to it.

My interest in the band has reached a pretty low point as a result, though I’ll still be interested to hear how the songs fit into the live sets.

Maybe this is a good example of the kind of thing KD and Tj were talking about in the awkwardly titled Best vs. Fave thread. Gigaton is an album I can admire on a number of levels and I can identify as a marked improvement over the last several ones, but I just never ever ever feel like listening to it.

I listened all the way through today for the first time in a few weeks I think, and my prevailing thought was that I can't really believe these dudes managed this

it sounds like "and I can't fight this feeling anymore", 80s power ballad vibes
