Growing up I had a female coach at one point. I think it was junior high, maybe freshman in HS, and she had played in college. She was probably in her 20’s at the time. She was good at basketball and, speaking for myself at at least, a good coach who commanded the team’s attention.

Also went to school with a girl (one year below me) who went on to play many years in the WNBA. She could definitely hang with the boys team.

But we weren’t all in the NBA. Good luck with that.
