I'm not hating anything about the clip. I don't expect a cute song about parenting to be an album standout. Probably just a break from the heaviness of the rest of the album. The Spin article described it as:
'There’s even a song about parenting, “Something Special,” which Vedder said at the Troubadour was co-written with touring member Josh Klinghoffer.'
No. I asked them if they wanted to go but they're busy that day.igotworms wrote:Are you taking your wife or her boyfriend to the listening party this week?lecherouslittlestump wrote:Nice ditty. My wife and her boyfriend have chosen it to be their first dance.
He's so old he thinks Dick Van Dyke's hat from Mary Poppins is a fashion statement. Alex, back me up here.spike wrote:Middle age lasts til like 65. The average life expectancy for a man is 73. Statistically, a 65 year-old man is 8 years away from death. Call it whatever you want but "middle-aged" certainly feels like a misnomer.spike wrote:Middle age lasts til like 65

The statistic is dated 2021 so maybe it has changed since then; I remember one point in the not too distant past when it was 78.VinylGuy wrote:73? wtf i would expect 80Kevin Davis wrote:The average life expectancy for a man is 73. yeah, and im also loving the approach. Its clearly different from Gigaton, and while that album turned out the best album they did since RA to me, this sessions clearly reinforced how the band works and writes.scrub12 wrote:Listening to Jeff describe how they made the album has me excited.
