Absolutely. One of the bands I used to play for had 5-6 hour rehearsal/writing sessions at least twice a week. In the first few sessions I used to cramp up pretty bad half way through, so I started eating a lot of bananas for the potassium (helps prevent cramping) and the energy boost. In the end I go pretty fit, but I ate way too many bananas and overloaded on potassium.

i did 2.5 miles on the elliptical in 30 minutes than went to the pool and did 10 laps (1000 yards). every muscle in my body just feels totally tired beyond belief

That's some pretty remarkable progress.
That's awesome. But you should be smiling more in the second pic.

What happens when you have too much potassium?

What happens when you have too much potassium?
Hyperkalemia. The early symptoms are extreme weakness and an irregular heartbeat. If left untreated, it can lead to a heart attack. Thankfully I went to the GP when I had the early symptoms.
The look on the Doc's face was fucking hilarious when I told him about my massive banana consumption.

At the time I was having up to 40 per week.

I'm glad your doctor got you to quit monkeying around.

I had noticed my pants were fitting a little looser around the waist so I weighed myself at the gym last. I've lost several pounds in the past couple months. I'm always trying to trim up but don't particularly want to loose weight. For me it's a seasonal thing; my appetite goes way down in the summer.

Since not having gone to the gym regularly in the past two weeks - my weights dropped below 100kg again. Time to remedy that I think

I've kept up the routine the past few weeks but I have not been particularly motivated, barely any cardio and half assing it more often than not with the weights.

Went to the gym last night. It had only been four days between workouts but it felt like four weeks, I was awful.

But my legs are a little sore this morning so maybe it was effective.

Completed my 3rd workout in four days & this was the best of the bunch. I've knocked up my weights in the past month & I can tell a difference. Did the treadmill too, cut the pace back a bit though as my legs were already sore.

Deadlifted 405 last Thursday. Back in May I had a hair-brained scheme to rush to 405, but backed off, took it slow, and hit 405 with relative ease, and best of all I'm not injured lol.

Awesome! Best part is the ease of loading the bar with simply eight plates.

Doubled up Tu/Wed, including a fusion class last night. That ought to get me through the next couple days until I get on schedule Saturday.

Happy to be back at it after a long, nearly year long break. Still riding my back an hour or more every day and on a repeating schedule of; day one - swim 3/4 mile, day two - chest, shoulders and triceps with emphasis on shoulders, day three - back, biceps and abs. Lost eight pounds in three weeks with another ten or so to still come off. It feels good to have tired muscles again.

I usually go to the gym on Saturday mornings & it is typically my best workout of the week. But I decided to go tonight. And I sucked. I don't if it because I was tired after a long work week or if I was tired because it was my fifth time in seven days but I struggled the whole time. I got through my routine but it was not pretty.

Four weeks now maintaining my swim and weights plan. Added treadmill running yesterday which I'll try to throw in four or more days a week on top of my regular bike riding. Yesterday did 20 minutes on 6% incline at 5.5 mph pace. Tonight, after swimming in the afternoon, 22 minutes on 6% incline at 5.7 mph pace. Can't believe how slow I am but feels good to be going hard.
