On the Beach was a big one for me too. I had been deep into Neil for about five years when this album became available on CD, and I was blown away by how great it was when it was finally issued (in 2003 I think). It's a real treat to be so in love with an artist and then hear one of his best albums ever for the first time -- not sure I've had that happen in many, if any, other scenarios.

I'm definitely down for this, it's a great bootleg.

Greendale is solid -- more of a "vibe" album for me, something I put on when I want to listen to Neil and 2/3 of Crazy Horse mellow-groove for a while (which is a high calling, don't get me wrong), but I get a kick out of the rock opera side of it too. It's definitely a Neil Young album through and through. "Bandit" is one of his top five best songs post-2000.

It's interesting which albums push you over the edge with certain artists. In my experience, it's not always the greatest ones. Like, those captivate your interest up front, but it's usually something kind of left-field where you have that realization of, "Wow, I really seem to identify with everything this artist does, and I want to hear every second of it."

Actually, New Morning may have been it for me with Dylan as well. I don't really remember what it was with Neil -- maybe Silver and Gold or Weld...

Very excited for this. I've listened to the bootleg a lot, but it will be nice to have an official, good quality version.

I've been happy to just stream all of these releases so far, but this might be the first one that I want to own a physical copy of.

So, there will also be an official bootleg release series now. And the first one being released soon.

But so is the 1972-1976 boxset? And also another set from the performance series? One from the GReendale tour?

This is getting confusing and not sure why everything is being released this disorganized...

I don't even own a CD player anymore, and yet there's a part of my brain that's telling me that I need this. I wish you could just buy the book that comes with it.

Like Vol 1, I'll just end up listening to it on Spotify and be perfectly fine with that.

Crazy. I didn't even entertain the thought of buying it. There's stuff on there I already own, and I'll prob just end up streaming it.

I think Fillmore East and Massey Hall were released individually before Archives 1 came out (I might be wrong, it was in the decade before last decade), so if the pattern holds we've already seen the individual releases.
