I love the scene in the director´s cut with the Derelict from Alien.

The extended cut is a masterclass in atmosphere and pacing. Absolutely flawless. Love the glimpses of life on the planet before hell breaks loose. Love the stuff about Ripley’s daughter; essential background to why her bond with Newt is so strong. The TC is worthless to me.

The stuff about her daughter makes the newt stuff way too on-the-nose. And alien 3 sucks.
