Deepest into the playoffs the Atlanta Hawks have ever won a game.

I keep overestimating the Bucks.

Maybe put NBA first team defender Jrue Holiday on Trae Young or something.

Easily the best Atlanta Hawks team ever, and the best in the franchise in 51 years.
And they are missing their 2nd best player and best defender in Deandre Hunter. Solomon Hill played quality minutes last night and had a dunk!
Trae was great yes, but John Collins and Clint Capela were superb. They were dominating the offensive glass. I still think Clint and Trae were more than worthy All Stars, because of all the team injuries and time spent getting Reddish ready when they were 14-20.

This seems like a bad matchup for the Bucks. If they go big with Lopez the Hawks target him. If they go small they do shit like give up 5 offensive rebounds in a row and draw up plays for Pat Connaughton airballs. Probably too early to hit the panic button. If Middleton goes 2/9 instead of 0/9 they probably win that one.

Middleton had an 0-9 game?
Holy shit wow.

Prediction: However far the Hawks get this year … whether it’s one win in the ECF or an NBA championship, it’s the farthest they will get in Trae Young’s career and they’ll never match it.

I thought the Bucks played pretty poorly, had a bad game plan and yet, they still had a chance at the end. Not going to overreact to one game.

It’s weird how bad their three point shooting has been the majority of the playoffs.

Agreed. I don’t see a kid like Collins having games like that every night, or Capela pulling down that many boards a night. And then toss out the once a series terrible game by Middleton.
Also, Holiday seemed to be able to do whatever he wanted. If that continues, and Middleton bounces back, the three headed monster will be hard to beat.

I've been saying the "I don't see...." with the Hawks the entire playoffs.

Damn good shooting, I don’t think the Bucks missed in the 2nd Quarter from anywhere.

Gutty win by Milwaukee last night. Chance to clinch at home if they can win again tomorrow.

There are now seven former 90s/00s point guards head coaching in the NBA.
Nash
Kidd
Billups
Kerr
Lue
Doc
McMillan
I could see someone like Sam Cassell taking the Milwaukee job if Coach Bud can’t win it all.
