Can the Bucks get over the hump tonight? Six wins to go is where they ran into a wall two years ago.

Depends on how mobile Trae is, but they certainly have appeared to figure something out against the Hawks. Been impressed with Giannis since his horrific games in the Nets' series.

The Hawks are most likely to beat up to compete much further.
Bogi can’t shoot with his knee issue. Trae has the bone bruise and wasn’t the same in the 4th. They just don’t have enough right now unless they get some spectacular games from Collins and Huerter tonight.
When they hit their shots they can compete with anyone, I don’t think they have enough healthy bodies to compete much further. Still, damn good season, best in the history of the Atlanta edition of the franchise by far.
The Bucks are just better and they’re supposed to be, that’s the reason they went out and got Jrue.

You would think so, but I'll believe it when I see it. Games 1 and 3 were both close, and it took a freak Trae injury and a superhuman effort from Middleton to win the latter. It feels like we're still due for a "get lit up by a random role player" game, ala Jeff Green last series. Maybe that's just a snakebitten Wisconsin sports fan talking.

the bucks are actually making adjustments this year. maybe not as much in game, but game to game.
trae may be limited to more of a jump shooter tonight; he said himself the injury has cost him his blow by speed. he won't be nearly as effective without that damn tear drop shot, and losing some strength in his lower half also means he won't be draining threes from outer space. that being said, he's obviously a gamer and they'll dope him up plenty, so who knows.
i like our chances tonight and in the series. getting home court back was huge.

Trae Young officially out.
It was fun while it lasted.

Ugly so far, but if Bucks can keep it close, I think they win.

assuming he isn't completely done, do you hold him out of game 5 too?

Might as well. I don't know how effective he'd even be if he could play.

Didn't watch any of tonight's game, but it seems like Giannis may be seriously hurt? Weird playoffs. Seems like only the top guys are getting new injuries.

SHORTENED OFFSEASON

Most on these injuries seem like the type that would happen if they had a normal offseason. If you land on a guy's foot it probably doesn't matter how much rest you've had. Or if you gained 50 pounds to force your way off a team and then pull a hammy.
