I still really like every song on the album.
Agreed on both points.VinylGuy wrote:Retrograde went from meh to fucking awesome. I would think my least favorite song of all time is River Cross.
Just doesn’t do it for me.PHATJ wrote:Bammer, why do you hate River Cross so much?

I can understand that, even though I love Alright. SBWM is probably my least favorite right now, but it's a high quality tune. I honestly have no idea how Ed is going to keep it together with all those lyrics live.VinylGuy wrote:yeah, me too. Retrograde went from meh to fucking awesome. the government verse and that kalimba, or whatever it is, don't help the songPHATJ wrote:Bammer wrote:I think it finds a comfortable home in my bottom ten.PHATJ wrote:Is it really your least favorite PJ song?Bammer wrote:Just doesn’t do it for me.PHATJ wrote:Bammer, why do you hate River Cross so much?
yeah, they cant play Who Ever Said and SBWM back to back live. That just cant happen.RockPusher wrote:I can understand that, even though I love Alright. I hear ya. I definitely wish they would cut their sets to 20 - 25 songs, not attempt to play 100 different songs in a tour, and just actually nail the songs that they do play.VinylGuy wrote:yeah, they cant play Who Ever Said and SBWM back to back live. Same. I can understand some people don't love certain songs, but I wouldn't change a thing on this record. So glad they managed to create this 30 years in.PHATJ wrote:I still really like every song on the album.
