Re: What are you playing?

Planning to play Final Fantasy XVI, Resident Evil 4, or Dead Space next. Just waiting until I need a break from Zelda.
Welp, I'm stuck right near the end. I spent the whole game laying waste to foes as a samurai-sword-wielding drug-addled troll with cybernetic arms, but now I need a really good hacker. I wonder if Burt is available.Ello Sailor wrote:Hopped back into some cyberpunk with Shadowrun: Dragonfall.
The RE4 remake does NOT disappoint--loved it. Debating whether I should dive into FF XVI or Dead Space next as well...Monkey_Driven wrote:Planning to play Final Fantasy XVI, Resident Evil 4, or Dead Space next. Just waiting until I need a break from Zelda.

I felt it was a breath of fresh air. I predict you being a person like you will probably come around and like her (and sympathize with her) by the end, unlike people unlike you.tragabigzanda wrote:I've returned to TLOU2 after taking a break over the summer. This is my first play-through, so I'm not posting in the TLOU2 thread to avoid spoilers.
Anyway, I picked it back up last week, and was almost immediately thrust into the huge narrative pivot where you have to play as Abby for what feels like will be a long time (based on the skill tree and crafting abilities). It's a tough sell. I was extremely attached to the Ellie narrative after the precipitating events of the game, and was making a very thorough play-through. But now that I'm Abby, I'm kind of rushing through things because I don't care about her, even though the game seems to want me to.
Anybody else experience this? No big spoilers please!

That sequence is so intense.tragabigzanda wrote:I put in two hours last night and it’s already happening. Making Abby more of a bruiser, bare knuckle fighter got me all fired up, and then I started connecting with her story after she got saved by Lev & Yara, and fixed Yara’s busted arm.
This is proving to be a great sequel. I’d guesstimate I’m about halfway through?
check that; i googled it and you're about halfwaytragabigzanda wrote:Damn, that would be a really long game
