I feel like Eddie's acknowledging the limitations of his vocals on this tour(setlist wise) more than ever.

Am i the only one who thinks eddies trapeze act is stupid as fuck though?
The climbing was a fun thing he did in the past a few times but this just feels extra gimmicky. Maybe im just a boring asshole.

It was cool when he challenged himself to climb high under difficult circumstances...the new lights are like a swing set...for an old man.

It's cool if it fits within the context of a show. If its a wild wine-fueled night, it works. If it's a less energetic show and he goes into that after playing Thumbing My Way, it looks foolish.

At Wrigley when he tried it he almost fell off immediately and stopped (if memory serves me correctly). I would've thought he taken that as a cue not to do it.

Maybe that was before they added the platform to stand on and the hand holding loop thing...
Hopefully it doesnt stick around much longer.

Did they really add that stuff?
That seems kinda lame. I wonder if Jeff choreographs his jumps now too.

Yeah its just so...planned and choreographed and spinal tap-ish . 'Remember that thing I used to do before? When i was young and cuh-razy? Im still crazy! AtthesametimeeachshowwithextrasafetyprecautionsbecauseIdon'twanttoleavemychildrenfatherlessI'mnotstupid Wooo rock and roll! '
He probably just needed something to do during the solo/jam other than smoke.

I enjoyed seeing it, and he only did it at one of the shows i was at, he swung in charlottesville but he climbed out on the rail or into the crowd in charlotte

Can we get a list? Just studio stuff they've played previously. I know they didn't play Force of Nature because that's the song I'd most like to hear.
