Always forget that I love this band and tell myself I don’t even care about them anymore. Then You catch a thumbnail and press play and it comes flooding in. I’d happily trade two years off the end of my life if I could have spent them touring around after them during this period. Fucking immense.
Ed is clearly struggling with the non response from the crowd too. And remember this is Eddie befor he was ‘eddie’ copyright mtv alternative nation all passionate and climbing shit.
The climbing was only ever like a dog humping your leg to get your attention and your love. But here the music is pure and there’s no shenanigans to make you watch and listen.
I love that.
