Have you had Racer 5?
I have not. I wonder if it is available here.

It is brewed in Cali but I can get it here on the east coast. It is a really consistent, good IPA.
Now, help me find a good pilsener not named Victory Prima Pils.

I'll try it, but that "hoppy pilsener" has me worried. I like my hops flavors in IPA's and such, not so much pils. That is what is so nice about Prima Pils, the hops flavor isn't too strong. Another reason why I love a lot of German Pils too.

If price is not a problem try Ballast Point Sculpin. I also love Dogfish Head 60 Minute. And if you like DIPAs the Southern Tier 2X is a good one. What region are you in?

Ranger IPA from New Belgium should be available in Mizzou as well, I quite like that one.

I got some enjoy by 7-4. We'll see if its any good, since it runs the gamut of "some of the best beer ever" to "hard to drink piss water"

Only one of these reasons is really relevant. More likely to spill? Who is spilling their beer all the time?
I think the 2nd and 3rd reasons are pretty important
I don't know. Those are good points, but my tastes aren't so discriminating as to make those a big deal. How big of a pretentious dick do you have to be to complain that the heat of your full palm vs. the heat of your partial palm has caused your beer to cross the line from enjoyable to shit?

I should've mentioned this in connection with Doug's post: what I meant was that avoiding warm beer and being able to detect aroma in general are important, not necessarily that pint glasses suck because they detract from both specifically. I drink out of both IPA glasses and pint glasses.

If you p*ss*es would drink it like a man and not sip, it would never get warm.
