Wanna comment on the content of the message or just continue to misdirect blame and act like a dipshit?
What's there to really comment on? This could have just as easily happened in the deep south. If I was the mayor of Minneapolis, I'd feel unlucky, not guilty, although he seems like a decent man who is probably wondering what he could have done to mitigate this utter disaster.
It's not about conservatives or Dems. It's about inequality in America. And racism. Lots of racism. It's what we are. It's what we've always been. It's never changed, and in many aspects has only gotten worse.
It didn’t happen in the Deep South, it happened in Minnesota. And 100% of the people that had an opportunity to prevent all of this were Democrats. That is fact. And you making excuses after excuses after excuses won’t change that fact. EVER.
And if this has been happening forever, if it’s systemic, and we’re all to blame, then you can’t blame a guy who hasn’t even been in politics for 4 years. Maybe you should blame the people that have been making policy for 40 years like Joe Biden, Nancy Pelosi, and Chuck Schumer. They’ve had a LIFETIME to make good on their empty promises to the Black Community and they’ve failed in every conceivable way. And Joe Biden is an actual racist that says racist things constantly. He literally thinks black people aren’t black if they don’t vote for him. HE FUCKING SAID SO. Where’s your outrage, you hypocritical twat?

Realizing that in fact all of those people are bad is the first step on the glorious road to Marxism.

Didn't Trump take out a full page ad in the New York Times calling for the Central Park Five be put to death? That was what, 30 years ago? Regardless, systemic racism is bigger than politics. It's bigger than all of us.
This has happened in the south by the way. It happens a lot. All over the country. Recently. Ahmad Abrey was shot by white guys in Georgia. Kemp is a republican (it doesn't matter).
What's different I think about this particular situation is the nature of the video (horrific), combined with 40 million Americans out of work and wondering how they are going to survive, in a country that elected a morally empty and hateful man who is an established racist. We've been living inside a powder keg for a very long time and this was the lit cigarette butt.

Joe Biden is a blatant racist. And Biden, Pelosi, and Schumer have had 40 years each to make things better for the very people that are outraged because things are terrible. Minnesota is top to bottom liberal democrats. Start placing blame where it belongs. If you can’t call a spade a spade, you are as bad as these racists. You are part of the problem. You are racist. That’s a fact. Own it.

I don't think you'll find many people on RM that are card carrying members of the Joe Biden fan club. I'll still crawl on broken glass to vote for him on Nov 3 though. It is astounding to me that anyone could see our country being ripped apart before our very eyes, check Trump's Twitter feed, see thing like "loot we shoot" and "vicious dogs and weapons", during the worst domestic crisis in our lifetime, and think this is the leader we need. Everything points to the opposite. He is petty, he is small, he is vindictive, he is selfish, he is racist and most of all he lacks any ability to lead us with grace and strength. At no point in the man's life has he ever shown the qualities necessary for this monumental task.

Spoken like the would be revolutionary vanguard that feels the need to guide or shepard the proletariat.
Can we pause and chuckle together at the Anarchists? The Spanish Civil War showed the general trajectory for that belief system. Some of them now claim SDF/ Kurdish occupied Syria as a model. Oh poor children.

Because I trolled you on a message board I'm a bigot? Look man, I wish you no ill will. I even remember PMing you after your heart attack because if there is anyone who understands what it's like trying to bounce back from an unexpected health event it's me. I just wish you could be better than this. The cruelty one would have to accept to fall in line behind a man like Donald Trump is just not something I can swallow. I will relentlessly shame it.

Because I’m a conservative I’m a racist? Look man, I don’t actually hate you either. And I have had many fun interactions with you in the nba thread long ago. And I appreciated talking to you (and many others here) and the support after my heart attack. But I feel exactly the same way about leftists politics as you do about Trump. I cannot in good conscious condone anything about their ideology or general attitude towards reality. I see them as destructive to the very fiber of a healthy society. So I will relentlessly shame it.

I don't even consider myself a political person. Since I live in Illinois I've never really even concerned myself much with the Presidential elections because I live in an auto blue state. It's just so glaringly obvious to me that Donald Trump threatens to bring us all down. It's right there in the light of day, for everyone to see. Sometimes the behaviors that have been normalized since 2016 can make people numb to it, but for anyone who really examine the destabilization that has taken place, it's there.

Remember, this is what verb said:
verb_to_trust wrote:Trump is a racist, and since you back him, that makes you racist too. Own that.
verb_to_trust wrote:
Explain to me how you rationalize supporting a racist?
I'm going to guess it's something something economy. The greatest economy in history? An economy so great that 3 months of a pandemic has brought the country to it's knees and the least fortunate, the ones who despite the booming economy, never managed to scrape together more than a few hundred in savings, are suffering? If "But the economy!!" Is really your answer it sounds to me like that's more of a "fuck you I got mine" type of a take on how the people of this country have actually been doing, friend.
Generations of systemic inequality and racism has brought us here. Check your privilege.
He baselessly accuses me of racism, then blatantly shows his own racial biases and bigotry.
Then later you tell me that my situation doesn’t disprove something I never once argued it did. The shit you guys project at me to justify your dislike of me is asinine. It’s not even based in reality.
