@SkitchP wrote:Roger Clemens, pulled after 6 at 99 pitches after setting the side down in order in the 6th. Weird.
Meanwhile, Randy Johnson throws 136 despite clearly falling apart in the 8th.
I drafted some good relievers for a reason, damnit!
Also, regardless of the score, Paul Quantrill always seems to be the first man out of the pen.

In a game with Pujols, Howard, Sosa, Ortiz and Ramirez, the homers were hit by Mueller, Pedroia and Tony Gwynn

Absolutely. I was actually tempted to go with Hentgen for game 5. I figured it would decrease my chances of winning, but I would have the pitching advantage by throwing Johnson and Hernandez in games 6 and 7 without having them face Clemens. Turns out I should have done it since I lost this one anyway. Damn...

I thought about a similar strategy.
assuming Phil stays with the Righty, I have a lineup mod to my base lineup
1 Jacoby Ellsbury CF
2 Chase Utley 2B
3 Luis Gonzalez RF
4 Alex Rodriguez 3B
5 Miguel Cabrera 1B
6 Carlos Guillen SS
7 JD Drew LF
8 Alex Avila C
Willis on the mound

Also, Paul Quantrill hit former teammate Carlos Delgado in the head with a pitch.
I sense some bad blood brewing. Game 6 is gonna be intense.

Game six pitching match ups...
Lee vs. Santana
Schilling/Carpenter/? vs. Kershaw
Willis vs. Hernandez
Are these right?

Isn't Carpenter unavailable for game 6? Or was he not used in Game 4?
