I was wondering at the start of the season if we'd see one, but figured the odds were super low with how stacked these lineups were. I am pretty sure the Indians one-hit the White Sox, and I think we've seen a few two-hitters, but I really thought that would be it.

I should have known better than to doubt a dude who looks like that.
I checked my box scores before finding out what today's exciting event was; Halladay threw a 6-hit shutout with 10 Ks and I thought that must be one of the better pitching performances of tournament. Turns out it wasn't even close to the best performance of the day.

The Red Sox and Indians are starting to run away with the two byes, but the race for last four spots is getting tighter and tighter every day.

Now that I've clawed back to two games out of a playoff spot, those missed opportunities and my overly-patient managing in the first half really hurt.

That your team has surged back even that much is pretty impressive.

emboldened by the success of Joey Votto playing 3B (only 1 error there), I figured why not try one of the best second basemen of all time at SS. He can handle it.

4 errors in two games. ugh.

Also, I changed my against RHP lineups in whatif.

It's funny to see how many formatting inconsistencies show up in the .xls file.

When I use conditional formatting to color the rows it doesn't show up. But in the cells where I did it manually it does.

Boston Pedro has gotta be the front-runner for Most Outstanding Pitcher, huh?

The Chicago White Sox have been added to the leaderboard, and Bonds and Appling are in a heated battle for the OPS title as it stands now.

If everyone who's keeping track wants to PM me a link to where I can access your most up-to-date Excel files, I'll try to post some league leaderboards tomorrow.

Guys. Norm Cash. I had missed a game of Total Bases when I posted my stats, but his OPS is up to 1.041.

Of all the names at the top of this league, he is probably the most surprising. Also, he once came to the plate with a table leg against Nolan Ryan in the 9th after already striking out 3 times because

`Why not, I won't hit him anyway.'
