I love what he says in the podcast. About how the movie shows the madness of the main character. About mainly being a good visual movie with nothing inside.
I also like his take on horror movies vs art films. How Kubrick dissed the notion of being a horror movie.

Yeah, it’s a terrible take. His book is mediocre and Kubrick turned it into a masterpiece.

I've started listening to Dave Ramsey's call-in show. The bumper music is surprisingly edgy for such a conservative podcast. On recent episodes I've heard Kurt Vile, In Rainbows era Radiohead, The War on Drugs and other such atmospheric tunes.
(Now that I'm typing this out, I realize that none of that music is really all that hip anymore. So, par for the course for old guy podcasts I guess.)

Maron was on an episode of Doug Loves Movies recently. It wasn't as good as the episode with him and Kumail Nanjiani but it was still funny.
