I just respect the hell out of Mike McCready so much, and would like to see any of his endeavors succeed because I know it's coming from a good place. I wish it was a better night for them.
McCready is probs my favorite rock star ever.

I will go see him whenever I can locally pretty much. 50+ times I’m sure (incl PJ shows).

Even I cannot defend Infinite Color & Sound.

If Pearl Jam breaks up, Mike will join Hollywood Vampires as a fill in(or if someone dies) or Chickenfoot.

i for one will never forgive Mike McCready for: 1) stealing that Beatles record i was looking at, and 2) trying to butt me in line at my neighborhood coffee shop

Sounds like the two of you are due for the ol’ airing of the grievances

To be fair, didn't snatch put the record down, then Mike picked it up, then snatch decided he wanted it but it was too late? Or am I remembering that incorrectly?

I had Lightning Bolt on my MP3 player for work recently, figuring it had been a while since I had listened to it, so I'd see how it rates at the moment. Every time "Sirens" came on, I couldn't help but visualize something like a Monsato commercial. Go ahead and listen to that opening riff and imagine a tractor rolling through a cornfield, a group of kids playing in the yard with the dog, etc. It's the kind of heartland rock that's made to soundtrack advertisements.

Vocal Coach Creams Her Jeans Over Eddie

This woman, who is a vocal coach, basically has an orgasm hearing Ed sing Black from Unplugged. Well worth the watch. Her critique is actually spot on and almost exactly encapsulates the way I felt about Ed for all those years way back when. He really was an extraordinary vocalist. Watch till the end, one of my favorite parts happens in the last minute or so. Crash Test Dummies get mentioned, as does Nirvana, but this Lady is absolutely in love with Eddie from the first note. It’s amazing. :hooray: :luv: :worthy:

A “religious experience”. Yeah, she definitely broke out the ol’ selfie stick after she stopped recording.
