I see the Suns win, and I wonder how ol’ R2D is doing.

The shots of Suns fans… they’re so nondescript. A perfect representation of Phoenix.

At least there’ll be a good amount of fat slobs at Fiserv.

The Suns are 4-0 in game 1s this postseason. The Bucks are 1-3, dropping three straight game 1s. Last night's outcome is meaningless!

2021-2022 will be the NBA's 75th season. I sure hope they select the 75 best players of all time, like the league did for the 50th anniversary.
Spoiler: show
(https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/50_Greate ... BA_History)

Assuming they don't take anyone off of the list (even though they should), who are the best 25 guys from the past 25 years?

My list of players who have to be on the list (based on MVPs, All-NBA Teams, postseason success, and consistency/longevity):

Lebron James
Kevin Durant
Tim Duncan
Kobe Bryant
Dirk Nowitzki
Steph Curry
Kevin Garnett
Steve Nash
James Harden
Chris Paul
Allen Iverson
Dwyane Wade
Giannis Antetokounmpo (early in the career, but a 2X MVP winner)
Jason Kidd
Carmelo Anthony

Who else makes it?

if they don’t remove some guys, it’s a joke.

Not a big Billy Cunningham fan?

I’d be surprised if they had the balls to cut anyone from the original 50.

Bucks are so good in the paint.

Let’s see if they can stay focused on attacking. They’re totally prone to start taking stupid jumpers at any time.

I'd have to believe that Kyrie (based on name more than production), Kwahi, and Westbrook make this list. Could Manu Ginobili or Vince Carter make the list? Paul Pierce?

Is it too early for Anthony Davis to be considered?

Forgot about Kawhi. He's definitely in. I'd say Anthony Davis and Westbrook probably are too. Dwight Howard, Kyrie, Pierce, Vince, and McGrady are on the that next tier (along with several other guys).

You know who won't be in the top 75? Jrue Holiday.

It's so frustrating.

What's obvious now is how similar his game is to Bledsoe's. People gave up on Eric because of his playoff struggles but the bigger issue was that his game wasn't really compatible with Giannis's. All three of them like to drive and either finish or kick it out to a shooter. That works for Giannis because it leaves guys on the perimeter who can (theoretically) make shots. But what's the point of Jrue driving and kicking out to Giannis? Is Giannis supposed to take a 3? Or drive into the paint that's now clogged with all the guys who collapsed on Jrue's drive? The makeup of the team just seems fundamentally flawed. And it doesn't help that we have at least 7 guys on the bench who are basically unplayable this series.

Now watch them win both home games convincingly.

Dwight is above those other guys. He's been a clown for so long now but dude was dominant in Orlando. 3x DPOY, 8x All NBA (5x first team). Dwight has basically the same amount of career WS as Kidd and Harden (#32 all time). Vince is #40, surprised he's that high, actually. Kyrie is #220; this season was probably the first time he wasn't overrated in his career.

You're probably right. I really hope they have all the guys come out in jackets again. No one will want to be around Dwight.

At least Jrue brings stellar defense, not that it mattered last night the way the Suns were shooting.
