You really think my comments about this have to do with me having a short attention span? I just appreciate brevity and efficiency. Things are only too long when they have unnecessary filler, which is almost always the case with albums and TV shows.

No, I don't think they have to do with a short attention span exclusively. Not at all. But it's a factor in the average consumer culture, in general. Absolutely.

I agree that thins are only two long when they have unnecessary filler, but I'd be willing to be we're fairly opposed on how we would define "unnecessary filler."

He has two approaches to making albums:

1. Focused and consistent.

2. Everything but the kitchen sink

I find his albums of the first variety to be amazing, and of the second variety to be quite shitty.

Yeezus is far and away his most focused and consistent work. It’s not even close.
