i don't understand how anyone could prefer let it ride to cold confession.

For me it's all Eds fault. If I don't enjoy vocals in a song (not talking about the lyrics) it won't do much for me.

Same here. It is the repetitive vocal phrasing as well.

I don't mind when he sounds like a redneck (is he one?), it's kind of all part of the shtick, but the "Yes I understeyand that every life must eyand, aw-huh" was a bit much, and so was "moving with the speed of sooooound-UH."

I dunno, i don't hear redneck i hear stupid. Especially since he doesn't usually sound like that. The closest he gets usually the of he goes kinda voice.

If anything has addled eds brain its probably weed. That'd be the forgetting word though, not whatever this is.

oh I get that. It's what killed unemployable for me. But I think he sound so good there.

there's a shine on his voice I've never liked. it shows up elsewhere, but is really prominent there.
