I remember really wanting to like season 3 more than I did, because I thought the premise was really a powerful foundation for a good detective story, and it's hard to do better than Mahershala Ali as your central performer. But I felt like it never got to where it should have been (which for me, lands pretty much on the writing and plotting; everything else seems properly in place).

What Ali did in S3 was his masterwork.

I'm two episodes into this new season.

Hey, Jodie Foster? Lose the attitude.

Imagine not thinking Jodie Foster deserves to have that attitude

I mean, she's a massive asshole to Yung Prior for no reason. The rest of them deserve it.

Pizzolato is finishing a movie he wrote and direct with Simon Rex, Vince Vaughn, Al Pacino, Kate Mara and more. It’s called Easy ‘s Waltz and I can’t wait to see it.

Ten years later, I finally watched the first series of this show and it was as great as I'd been led to believe.

yeah the first season is untouchable. maybe the best single season of tv. the third season is pretty good as well but the rest sucks.

Burt's hatred of S1 is one of the all-time worst takes on RM. It absolutely rules.
