The Adam Driver story on that page was way more interesting.
The part about him force-choking Hanna in the season premier of Girls is super intriguing.
If there's anyone out there who can make a joke out of choking your ex, it's Lena Dunham.

I theorised that Leia coming under attack would be the straw that breaks it for Kylo and he'd attack anything coming at his mom and that would be his redemption.

I guess they could still do that

A lot of people think that's the only way to redeem him. Not sure I agree. But I do think that's the most obvious/easiest way to do it.

What if Laura Dern is playing Ahsoka in 8?

In what world is reacting to his mother's death by going on an angry killing spree (if that's what you're suggesting) considered redemption? Surely not the Star Wars world, because anger is dark side stuff, yeah? I really hope this story doesn't end up being that thin and hollow.

Then the Star Wars Saga is going to be better than any of us ever imagined.

That would be terrible casting, dime.

You've... you've seen the Saga films, right? I mean, you know how this goes.

Not the murderous rampage part. But the idea that the only way to redeem him is through his mother's death. That's a pretty commonly held belief. Mostly, because fanbois seem to think it's impossible to redeem "the guy who killed Han Solo." I think that's absurd. Anyone can be redeemed. If they decide to redeem Kylo Ren, I think there are many ways they could go about doing so. But something about Leia and her death would be the easiest, most obvious. It's also the one the Han fans seem to like the most. For some stupid reason.

I mean it more like Leia being attacked by Snoke or some agents of his and that making Kylo react to protect her or Snoke ordering him to kill her and that being a bridge too far and Kylo saving her and killing Snoke?

It's all up in the air. We know now she doesn't die in 8 so it makes me think Luke might but unless they change it to have her die in 8.

Sad part is we're left to trust Colin Treverow to write whatever her end might be

I thought the GOT chic theyve cast in the Han movie would make a great ahsoka.
Right age and could easily pull off that look.

I fully expect them to reshoot Ep 8 so that she dies now. I don't think we have to worry about Colin, honestly.

She would have been good, yeah. But I'd rather have a non-caucasian. Or Alison Brie. :naughty:

Or Alicia Vikander. She'd be a good young Ahsoka if they don't go ethnic.

Dude! I haven't actually seen any of her work. But yeah. Her look is great. She'd be fantastic as a Ahsoka.
