Too early to be sure so this might be an overreaction, but....I think LeBron's decline becomes obvious this season based on the first three games. I don't mean like "he isn't at his peak," that's been happening since he's been a Laker but last season he was still an obvious top 3 MVP candidate prior to his injury. I think this is the season where moments of greatness start to become more rare and there are more games where he clearly isn't the best player on the floor than ones when he is. And assuming he's healthy it isn't clear that he's at least 3rd team All NBA.

This saddens me to write. But if he can't get to the basket it's going to be a struggle for him unless he becomes a knock down shooter which just doesn't seem likely.

Not be able to single handily carry the Lakers to a competitive level in the first round last year was a big sign to me.

It was but he was also clearly injured. He was not good at all in that series and it was a wrap for them when AD went down. I was willing (eager?) to give him the benefit of the doubt and attribute it to injury because he had been so good pre injury last season. This season he's just standing outside the three point line putting minimal pressure on defenses. I really hope I'm wrong, though.

Maybe he's deferring to AD and the new cast of characters a bit? It's a confusing start, for sure. His regression is inevitable and will be weird when it becomes obvious in the playoffs. I don't think they will win the west.

He's just such a bad GM. How he chose Russ over Buddy Heild is mind boggling to me. It's a shame for him because this ought to be a favorable year to win the west.

Hopefully he's just deferring to Russ. I think that's certainly part of the reason he wanted him--to let Russ do heavy lifting in the regular season, but idk I'm worried that is just him now injured or not. If AD could be 2020 playoffs AD it could be enough to win the west but who knows with that guy.

Spike thinks there's more white guys in the league.

Speaking of white souls I was glad to see last night that Gordo is still mostly useless.

League Pass considers Memphis a "local market", so I was unable to watch the Warriors blow their lead to the Grizzlies last night. It's impossible to get Memphis' Bally's Sport affiliate on any cable provider in my town, but yet I still couldn't watch it (Memphis is a 6+ hours drive).

Wow that's absurd. I don't understand why it would be blacked out even if it was the local market...

Zach Levine highlights last night were off the hook. So many freak athletes in the Association.

Ironically we’ve found and area where monopolies benefit the consumer. RSN’s are shit. Always have been. They are not profitable. Sinclair has made a terrible situation much worse.

Hey, do you live in GA? I'm coming up this weekend to look around at houses on the south side of Atlanta. Guess I might need League Pass to watch Heat games one day.

Unless they play ATL, then you're shit out of luck (if you're not a traditional cable subscriber).
