Discuss.
What does an Iowaska Experience entail exactly?
Do you have time for a story of death, rebirth and love?
Is Iowaska an intentional mispelling of Ayahuasca?
Unintentional, unfortunately.

Getaway is a 4 star song.
For me the weak chorus hurts plus Ed can rarely nail the chorus live. This has probably left a bad taste in my mouth re: that song.
I remember the snl performance of wws. It was awful and Ed really struggled through that chorus.
WWS for me was a song that could have been so much more. I like the vocal melody and the lyrics alot. I always hear this song and have played it in a Mad World way. I wish Ed would have sang this really slow like CC with maybe a Uke for Jeff and had Jeff and Mike write the music for it. Maybe like a minor Present Tense. All hope is lost kinda thing and open the album with that then Comatose,Severed Hand that would have been great
So basically you like the song you just wish it was completely different.
I like the nut and bolts of the song alot. But the frame and skin is kinda lame to me.

So you're obviously not a Shaman, then.

Sirens goes down in the poll everytime I look at it very strange. I am going to stop looking at it and see if it goes up, but since I can't look at it to see if it is going up I will never know. So instead I will look at it every minute and see if it is in last place in 35 minutes.

It's odd considering Swallowed Whole is the best song so far .

Nope. True story - the day Eddie did a radio interview for Riot Act or S/T (can't remember which one now) in which he talked about his own Ayahuasca experience, I immediately changed my RM username to that. Of course, I had no idea how to spell it and didn't think to google it, so I guessed wrong.
I'm not from Iowa or Alaska...but I did really like Ska music in college.

I'm just glad a few more folks have jumped into the LTRP deep end of the poll with me and Frank.

At least for the first 7 tracks as of May 29, 2013. Looks pretty much spot on, though

Wow, so it was already together as of May. I initially thought they hadn't finalised the track listing until about the time they did the final artwork and listing reveal. I thought
they were B'OB was making it up as they went along.

Guess they've just been sitting on it for so long b/c a Fall tour was the only thing that worked for them. No wonder Ed is so anxious to kick out these tenants. Even more shocking this thing hasn't leaked.

Yep. They've done really well to keep a lid on things this time around.
Having said that, I've never seen anyone do it better than Bowie with his last album release - no one had any idea that he was writing anything new.
