I can't believe this is my country
in my little Walmart everyone wears masks .
And there's the US President , encouraging all those people to show up right next to each other and cheer each other's spit onto each other and not wear masks.
He clearly does not give one fuck .

The night before we went on lock down and bars closed, some rando at the bar tried to give me a high five as he left. I offered the (now standard) elbow bump instead and he called me a fag and proclaimed he'd never be back.
The ensuing months in America were only ever going to go one way.

i watched like 10 minutes of this rally. it's just a really bad stand-up routine (as usual). Except today, 30 million americans are on unemployment. certain whole industries are in the toilet. and he still only talks about himself and complaining about menial shit. that's not gonna cut it this tie around - this doesn't strike me as appealing to voters, except the 13% die-hard that he already has in the bag and couldn't shake even if he wanted to. he's gotta step up his game if he wants to win this election. this didn't strike me as compelling at all.
