Dude was throwing 96 mph 100+ pitches in, and he's old enough to remember the first 311 album. What a stud.

We usually play lively music on Sundays here at the bar, but everyone was begging for game sound. At the end of the 7th, I said "if the Stros can get Ver some run support in the 8th, I'll put on sound." Then I caved before that even happened. Clearly, my decision to put on sound was the impetus for the bats.

I was at the game a couple of weeks ago when he got a loss after 9 innings, no walks & 11 Ks, so this one felt like it was going to be particularly toxic in the clubhouse if the team couldn't give him any bats.

Maybe one of the Red Sock guys can help us get started with a trademark magic number countdown in this thread.

There’s still room on the bandwagon since thodoks and lenny left us, but I suspect most of RM is pulling for the Nationals.

"Cheering" for the Nationals because of Scherzer.
