I agree. S/T aged great and has actual good songs. BS has aged terribly, and so has LB for that matter. S/T is a much better record than those two.

conceptually/thematically S/T and even backspacer belong with the first 7 records (with Backspacer serving as something of a conclusion to a journey that starts with Ten). Lightning Bolt is for better or worse a middle aged record. whether it is a stand alone thing or not remains to be seen

This was a 2016 first attempt at making a PRAMG listening list.

It needs a bit of rearranging (listened to it now, and 6-8 are a bit misplaced), but it kinda feels like it could perhaps be a vague telling of love and survival in the post-apocalypse.

I never feel these ranking tools give me accurate lists. Personally, I have plenty of a > b, b> c, c > a situations. Rankers can’t account for that type of crazy.
