On the other, I can't help thinking-- fuck, this is what people in Pakistan live with every day. More people died from US drone attacks there and in Yemen this week than at the Boston marathon. The US says it's killing dangerous militants but the casualties have been mostly civilians, including women and children. And there's no #PrayforPakistan trending or whatever. It's just really messed up.

Can we all just move to Idaho and hang out?
I can deal with the Unabomber, he had targets i think. it wasn't this random bullshit crap that goes on now a days. He was a bomber with standards.cutuphalfdead wrote:Too close to where the unabomber hung out.@SkitchP wrote:Green Habit wrote:Yikes, this looks scary.

There are quite a few mountain ranges in the way--and Boise's the furthest away from Montana as far as its border states go.cutuphalfdead wrote:Too close to where the unabomber hung out.@SkitchP wrote:Can we all just move to Idaho and hang out?Green Habit wrote:Yikes, this looks scary.
i just saw that they are asking people to stay inside, will that keep you from having to go to work?cutuphalfdead wrote:Eventually I'm going to have to go in to work. All the police activity right now is centered just a few blocks down the road from the station.

Do not wear a grey hoodie. But seriously by the looks of it going out doesn't seem like a very good idea. MBTA and cabs are shut down. Governor asked everyone in Boston to stay in, doors locked.cutuphalfdead wrote:Nope.Dr. Van Nostrand wrote:i just saw that they are asking people to stay inside, will that keep you from having to go to work?cutuphalfdead wrote:Eventually I'm going to have to go in to work. My station is close to where this shit is centered but just to the east, and I'll be coming in from the east. If I was on the other side of everything I'd not be leaving my house.Heathen wrote:Do not wear a grey hoodie. But seriously by the looks of it going out doesn't seem like a very good idea. someone from here should pretend to have partied w/ one of them in hs and get on tv@SkitchP wrote:This is so stupid. CNN is actually interviewing a guy who basically identified himself as "I partied with him in High School."
