It does seem like a great album.Strat wrote:Sometimes
Hail Hail
Who You are
In My Tree
Smile
I Got Id
Off He goes
All Night
Red Mosquito
Present Tense
Lukin
HTI
Around the Bend
No room for Long Road because you can't split up Sometimes and hail hail.
What a band huh? Its stuff like this why i still love them regardless of latter day quality.Anders wrote:It does seem like a great album.Strat wrote:Sometimes

Two thoughts without looking back at the other 10 pages (I read page 1):Anders wrote:The best ever.Strat wrote:What a band huh? Its stuff like this why i still love them regardless of latter day quality.Anders wrote:It does seem like a great album.Strat wrote:Sometimes

According to the Italian site it was recorded fro the Vs Sessions (Lost Dogs), Vitalogy session (Chicago Cab STrack) and once again for the No Code Sessions.96583UP wrote:i thought HTI was written during the Vs. sessions?
That's interesting. Perhaps the Vitalogy version was dusted off and finished during the No Code sessions? It seems odd that they would record it again and then go back to an earlier version, but it's not like that kind of thing doesn't happen.LetMeSleep wrote:According to the Italian site it was recorded fro the Vs Sessions (Lost Dogs), Vitalogy session (Chicago Cab STrack) and once again for the No Code Sessions.96583UP wrote:i thought HTI was written during the Vs. sessions?
You seem to have a problem with "Long Road" being "just one chord over and over again", but the version of "Long Road" you're proposing is literally just that chord.mikejasond wrote:Ok fine put in I Got Id after Smile but for god sakes get All Night OUT of here.
Everything else is fine but here's what you do.
Mankind and I'm Open are gone.
Present tense plays....
NOW!!!
The first one minute and thirty seconds of Long Road plays. One verse, and then back to the instrumental, and a fade out...
Into Hard to imagine, into Around the Bend.
There we go.
We've just improved Long Road SO MUCH by making it a little interlude instead of a boring 5 minute song and got to fit it in and make the end of the album really strong and interesting. Essentially Long Road abbreviated, is a better I'm open. And there's something poignant about hearing those first minute and 30 seconds as an individual track. Its like youre taking a little glimpse into Eddie walking the long road, and then you fade away to something else, assuming that he will keep on walking forever.
