Just because it is written doesn't exactly make it true.

Not that the below isn't but just, ya know:
Pearl$Jam wrote:New Song 'Can't Deny Me' Out Now
Pearl Jam's new track from their forthcoming album on Monkeywrench/Republic Records is out now!

Remember last Christmas when they were posting the home/away videos for the 12 days of pj thing on youtube?

They could've made an announcement like "hey, were doing something different than vinyl for the single this year hope you like it."

They could've taken those videos, burned them to dvd, and called that the single.

They had a simple solution to the single problem literally in their hands and they didn't take it.

This is strictly piss-poor management @ 10C.

I wish they had the freedom to be creative and fun. They clearly don't.

There would have been even more complaints if they sent out a DVD. SD? Cmon.

I think their social media is run by people who have never actually listened to a Pearl Jam song.

Or they attended some sort of conference or webinar on how to engage social media followers.

it's a huge problem, the management of the band has clearly been a disaster for years. From there inability to get the band to get an album done, to whomever has made the touring schedule for 2017 2018 and 2019. The fan club is an utter nightmare and for the first time, I find myself debating if it's even worth it for tickets.

it's not.

i've been in the fan club since 98, and i had non-fan club friends get closer seats than me to the most recent stadium shows in Seattle, unless you just want access to the 10c pit.

I like to hate on Ten Club as much as the next guy, but what POSSIBLE role could they play in that process?

That is more of a hit at the band's management, and don't they also run the club?
