Definitely is! BAR in New Haven was always my go-to. I will say the idea has been done to death locally with some really terrible pies but BAR's was always a lighter affair (contrary to how it may sound).
Why in the living fuck would someone top a pizza pie with mashed potatoes?

had a delicious slice yesterday of:
tomato sauce
mozzarella
parmigiano reggiano
eggplant
basil
was delicious
the eggplant was kind of a yellowish/green color. kind of interesting
made my mouth very happy
will do again
