Keep seeing that CBS Viacom is the next company likely to be acquired. God I hope they get bought and clean house. Pay Bad Robot whatever they want to fuck off.

Why would Q age? I figured they'd just de-age John in post.

They could explain his age with a throw away joke and save money. Seeing that the season 1 cast is back has pretty much sucked any excitement I had out of me. I don’t care if Professor X saves them. Patrick isn’t playing Jean Luc he’s playing Charles from Logan.

Yeah, Picard was feared back in the day. Now he's just cranky.

Q, but he’s not any fun
The mirror universe, but it’s not any fun
Picard, but the actor infiltrated the writer’s room
This shit sucks really, really hard

It’s almost like the writers of modern Star Trek googled top 10 Star Trek episodes watched them (for the first and only time) and started recycling.

I’m sure it’s Picard. Discovery has been awful lately.

Watched the first episode of Season 2. There were a number of things that bothered me. A couple moments that weren't bad. By the end I was halfway considering sticking with but the preview of the upcoming season looked like a slog so I think I'm out.
Edit: I’m full of shit I watched the second episode. I know I’m gonna regret watching this when it turns out this whole thing is about Jean Luc getting over his mommy issues but it’s hard to say no to a show with Picard in it.
