He hasn't been playing Elephant as much lately.

Ghost how did you do a top ten without Elephant or Songs that she sang in the shower?

elephant is great but too heavy to listen to regularly.

Will he play Outfit or does he ignore DBT?

He's played Never Gonna Change at every solo show I've seen, and usually one of Outfit, Decoration Day or Danko/Manuel.

Yeah he kinda rotates those. He's been playing Goddamn lonely love as well recently.

And Elephant might be heavy but it is so fucking good.

You'll probably get "Maybe it's time" too that he did for A Star is Born.

Goddamn Lonely Love is a special tune. It'd be nice to hear that.

He used to play both Outfit and Decoration Day almost every show, and I've read interviews saying he would continue to do so because he enjoys playing those songs so much. As his catalog has grown, however, the DBT songs are becoming rarer. He still probably plays them more than songs from Sirens of the Ditch and Jason Isbell & The 400 Unit. I wish he would revisit those albums more, and play Goddamn Lonely Love more too.

outfit and Decoration Day were absolute highlights last time I saw him live.

Can't wait for the new record and to see him again. What an incredible band he has.

He has some shows on Nugs, if any of you use that. Check out the Fredericton show, it was stellar!

(Yes, I'm biased as this was my hometown show for our little Jazz and Blues Festival that has grown ridiculously-- 2019 not so litle anymore headliners: Robert Plant, Nathaniel Rateliff & the Night Sweats, Jason Isbell & the 400 Unit, Lucinda Williams, and Charlie Musselwhite)

Speaking of Isbell/Moreland comparisons, anyone want to come visit?

If you go, make sure to catch Liz Cooper & The Stampede. You'll thank me after.

I live 5 miles away so I'm definitely going. Last year was the first year, and it was a blast.

I have some friends that are bummed about the lineup, but I think too many people were expecting Tyler Childers again or Sturgill Simpson. Both this year and last had some quality bands on the lower half of the bill. People just need to seek out some new music. There's plenty opportunity to find new artists to enjoy. I'm also pretty stoked for The Decemberists and Trampled By Turtles.

Anyway, I'm lucky to say this will be the second time seeing Isbell and Moreland together in some fashion. I can't complain.
