I can’t imagine how many takes they have to do of certain scenes. The layers of insanity that go into this show sometimes: Judy sago bf the most ridiculous stuff while Kelvin and his God Squad are doing they homo-repressed gyrations in the background, BJ with his stupid earring. I’ll be laughing often between the actual jokes, just taking it all in.

Same here. I imagine they do more than a few takes of scenes. I don’t know the level of improvisation that occurs, but there has to be a good amount. A lot of stuff just seems like reactionary comebacks that just goes above scripted material.
