Yeah, I'm down with either. Both would be cool for different reasons. But if I'm the one who gets to pick, I'm going with the fully complete and finished tracks option.

There was about 14 months between Vs. and Vitalogy, another 18 or so until No Code and another 18 or so until Yield. Let’s pretend something is brewing here as we now stand about 11 months out from Gigaton.

Jeff has been recording with Stuverud. Its the only thing i know.

BUT he should release his other new band record soon, Deaf Charlie.

if Of The Earth isn't on it I'm quitting this band

Kinda seems like it. Ed will have a soundtrack. And everyone else seems to have stuff cooking to varying degrees.

I really think they won't drop a new album until they've had time to tour Gigaton. I still think there is a new record waiting in the wings. I think if Covid-19 hadn't happened they would have dropped it last year between tours. But I don't think they'll give it to us now until they've had a chance to showcase Gigaton live.

So... probably late summer/early fall of 2022.

It would be ok if they dropped the second album and then just gigged a ton. I could deal with that.
