I've stayed there before. The gas station slots were packed at 7 am on a Sunday.

I think the plan is Metropolis Friday night after the Nashville show. Go do the Superman thing (I’ve never been there and she’s really excited about me doing that) then head to St Louis and spend the rest of Sat and all day Sunday doing the St Louis thing as neither of us have been there. Do the show then head back home Monday morning.

Goddamn guys. I’m gonna be mega disappointed if we can’t manage some sort of meet before the show

Depends on what you want to do and see in the city. There is a Metrolink rail system, but it's pretty limited. Parking is usually free or very cheap most places, so you'll just have to weigh convenience versus the cost of the rental.
