There’s a lightsaber whip in this.
It's Vernestra Rwoh's signature weapon! It better goddamn be in this show. There'd be a ton of disappointed fans of it wasn't.

Also, that latest 30 sec spot all but confirms
Spoiler: show
Amandla is playing twins
.

And I'm fucking here for it! :bammer:

I’m not caught up on any of these characters. Names or otherwise. Is this all linked to the high republic books?

Looking forward to this one even though I dont have any expectations.

I know nothing about the high republic era and looking forward to going into this blind.

Ive even stopped watching the trailer/special features thingys as I dont want any spoilers.

Opening episode done

Lost/Found

Positives
The opening fight scene
The prison break scene
Amandla was intriguing

Negatives
It’s like a fan film quality.
The ending scene seemed out of place
Vernestra was very wooden

This is by far the biggest letdown in modern Star Wars canon so far ...

But I still think this show will end up being my fave. I think it's gonna turn around fast. But these first two episodes are... Not great.

It probably doesn't help that I watched the first 3 episodes of Ahsoka (some of the best SW to date) earlier today in preparation.

I don’t plan on watching this. I haven’t seen new star wars since book of boba Fett

I think I enjoy reading about sw failures more than the actual content. Sad.

First episode was ok but i really don’t like the “evil twin tricking everybody” arc. It’s like a scooby doo storyline

Book of boba Fett is 50 times better than this.

This doesn’t look like $180 millions worth of Star Wars content. It looks like a fan film.

The last scenes would have been better as end credit scenes as oppose to being tagged onto the episodes.

The dialogue is very wooden. Hopefully it improves. It’s like Phantom Menace without the POD races/Maul

7/10

WTF?

“I hate it, but it’s my favorite”? What happens with content you actually enjoy?

Everything about the Jedi in this bores me to tears. Just re-treading of prequel stuff for the most part.

Second episode was worlds better with the addition of Manny Jacinto. He just crackles with energy and is a wonderful screen presence. Bortles!

I think he’s saying he really likes the premise, and hopes that will be enough for it to be great.

Narrator: “It won’t be.”
