I don't know. Ask Trump's appointee to the FBI Head.simple schoolboy wrote:Did she get an FBI investigation?B wrote:Didn't Reade give specific verifiable details that the press looked into and found unverified?
the agenda-setting media choosing to ignore this story actually improved my trust in the media. it showed restraintJuanHamm wrote:I think the real issue is that the media largely ignored the Hunter Biden and Tara Reade stories and took every opportunity to twist Trump's words to make him look bad.
Trump is a complete ghoul and that shines through pretty clearly, it didn't really feel necessary to hammer him on out of context quotes and gaffs.
All that really accomplished was further eroding people's trust in the media.
Restraint? Your last phrase gave the game away. Outcome oriented, not process oriented.96583UP wrote:the agenda-setting media choosing to ignore this story actually improved my trust in the media. it showed restraintJuanHamm wrote:I think the real issue is that the media largely ignored the Hunter Biden and Tara Reade stories and took every opportunity to twist Trump's words to make him look bad.

rather than diving deeper into the tabloid click-bait black hole, they re-kindled their long lost love affair with 'editing'
And chose to cover more important issues, like:
- we are in a pandemic and 500,000 people are gonna die
- 35 million people are unemployed, how will you fix
- do you support overt racism
and somehow still amazing how narrow the margin of victory was..

Worst outcome, Hunter gets 8 hours of a press cycle and the story changes between 0 and a few hundred votes.
I still see true believers trumpeting unverified. By who? By what?
It was a minor distraction that should have been treated as such. The coverup was worse than the crime is what we have at this point.
You can probably Google for a better view. She sent her boyfriend's ex her and said boyfriend's sextapes.96583UP wrote:i wanna hear more testimony from this chick (for realz)
