Indie Girl Voice

I don't know what it is called because I don't play the guitar, but I always hate it when they do that extra little strum of the string that doesn't produce a note but just the sound of hitting the string. I know I sound like a dumbass describing it, but that is the best I've got.

I just looked her up and this is the first video I clicked on, and I have to say, unfortunately, yes she does the Indie Girl Voice, but somehow it doesn't seem as egregious as most others. Probably because it seems more genuine and suits the music and mood of the song very well.
